A simple way to greatly reduce fridge power needs is top loading ones. Just by switching to this type, energy needs are 1/2-1/4 of upright ones because they don’t spill out all the cold air every time it is opened.

Cool.
Now I have some old shoes, I’m sure they are costing me some energy , can I have like $2.00 for a cash for shoes program?
Also my TV, its one of those tube models, I’m sure a nice HD LCD model would use less energy how about $100 for a cash for TVs?
Liberal … where does it end.

You have some excellent ideas for bathrooms. That has been one of the recurring themes in my own life–looking for a way to make our bathrooms and our kitchen look really glorious, even though those rooms are much too small.
